I’m heading off to a major writers’ conference in Las Vegas next week but wanted to make sure I delivered on this regular rundown of the best bargains in indie fiction. It’s a big week for thrillers and crime fiction, along with sci fi, fantasy and time travel romance (which admittedly has its pros and cons).
All titles range from free to $3.99. And our Indie Film of the Week is “Styx” from German filmmaker Wolfgang Fischer.
This week’s curated picks of quality ebooks at bargain prices:

Indie Film Watch
Susanne Wolff in “Styx” (2019).
Styx
A German emergency doctor (Susanne Wolff) takes a vacation from her long nights of saving lives and flies to Gibraltar to fulfill one of her dreams. Completely alone on an 11-meter yacht without any connection to the outside world except for the boat’s radio, she sail to a remote island in the South Atlantic before things go very wrong. A tense nail-biter from German filmmaker Wolfgang Fischer.
